Asymmetric Hypothesis
: Suggests that the individual cells in 2-cell and 4-cell
embryos are not equivalent (less supporting data)
There are reproducible quantitative differences of molecules,
modifications, external clues or orientations between the cells, which may
influence the cell toward the specification of a cell lineage
